It's day 2 of this week and I have Figure 2 of Wave 11 today. It is DCUC month and it's DCUC Wave 11 week here on Toy a Day, so let's get cracking!
Shark comes on the standard Wave 11 card, and he's posed sideways in the bubble, probably to represent him swimming, but to definitely show off his "assets", which in this case, is the huge fin on his back. The packaging has the usual elements including the bio on the back. Again, I wish his name on the title card was larger.
Shark comes with... Kilowog's leg. That's it. No accessories. He does have the huge honking fin on his back, which on my copy seems to be badly affixed to his back as there are gaps in some places and excess glue/material in others. It is also painted rather sloppily at the joint.
The face sculpt is scary and lifelike, which works well for the figure. However, I think the head is a bit oversized for the body that they gave the character. The body though is painted mostly metallic purple and he does pop out rather nicely on the shelf.
But I'm not too sure about that head of his. And when displayed with him standing upright, his fin is not really visible. It's a bit of a waste of a figure though, although I understand that he's probably good for the Legion of Doom or some such team or other.
