The dreaded contest

It's the end of summer. I have been hunting high and low for a special prize to offer as a contest. I think I finally have it. So what's the prize? Well, here's a picture:


Yes, that's the Poe Ghostal Dread Axe of Darkness - click More to check out the contest rules.

So how does the contest work?  Well, I'll just have a raffle to the one lucky winner on Halloween October 31 2010.

How does one enter?  Easy - Just post below here on this post on the blog (but not Facebook or Networked Blogs) that you would like to enter.  Your name will be added to the list for the raffle.  If I know you under any other aliases on Facebook or Poe's forums, please post those below as well.

Who can enter?  Anyone can enter with the exception of the following people - Immediate relatives of Poe Ghostal, anyone working for Spy Monkey Creations and myself.

How can you "get" more raffle tickets?  There are a number of ways you can get more raffle tickets:
1. Make at least one comment per day on this blog (but not Facebook or Networked Blogs) that's at least one sentence (of more than 5 words) long.  You don't have to post on this post - it could be on any other posts.You'll get an additional raffle ticket for each comment made per day.
2. Be a member of Poe Ghostal Forums and have at least 30 posts to your name by Halloween.  If you are already a Poe Ghostal member (i.e. you joined before the 17th of August), you get an automatic 5 raffle tickets for joining this contest
3. Follow the blog - use the Networked Blog app on the bog site and just click the "Follow this Blog" link.  Again, the following persons, if they choose to join the contest (they'll have to post below), get an automatic 5 raffle tickets - Trickjaw, 3B, LJ, Kapa, Ruben Quiles, Josh Ginter, Marvelous1, Pichon Garcia, Daryl Goh, Taz, Havoc, Tallstar, Ed Humphries, Jason Vaught.

There's only one axe to be raffled and won at the moment, but if I get more than 50 entries to the contest, I'll add a second axe.  So what are you waiting for?  You don't even need to write up long stories or use photoshop, just post below!  Good luck to all!

    I've enjoyed this blog for a while, it seems all of my favorites cross paths

    Darkspectre picks up 5 tickets for making more than 30 posts on PGPOA forums. You now have 11 tickets, but wait, you made at least one comment on the 20th, so there's an additional ticket for 12 tickets so far.

    The only other contestant to have made a post yesterday was LJ, who also gets an extra ticket to make it 7 tickets.
