TakaraTomy have been releasing what has been known as Generation 1 Transformers under their Encore line. Next up is the Devastator gestalt. He's figure 20 in the line and he will be in his green and purple colour scheme. The sculpt will be as faithful to the original Japanese sculpt as possible, which means he will have the missile launching fists. He will be released in November 2011.
My good friend Havoc alerted me to this picture which was shown in 'Xmas in July' or something like that. The figures are supposedly for Wave 1b of Character Options Dr. Who line. The new figures are River and Pandorica Chair, Idris, Uncle and Straight-Jacket Doctor. Still no Rory though...
While I'm talking about European stuff, the German publisher Fantasia has updated the Lego Collector book to the second edition. It's got 130 more pages than the first edition, and one of the reasons for that is that it showcases all sets from 1949 to 2011 instead of 1958 to 2008. It comes with an exclusive keychain too. Orders can be made at Fantasia's site.
Poe mentioned on his revamped blog that Nomad from Idle Hands blog has got all the SDCC exclusives pictures up. One of the exclusives I was reading about was Tonner's Phoenix figure. It's a bit creepy, but then again it's Phoenix. Right after reading about it, I got a chat message from Devall, formerly of Popculturenetwork. Coincidence perhaps?
