#238 of 365 Robotech Zor Prime

And we continue Animated August with another Robotech figure, this time, another Zentraedi in the guise of Zor Prime.  I don't remember the original Macross series, but I think he's the leader of the Zentraedi or something like that who got micro-sized.  Hence his 3.5-inch figure here, which I'm opening today.

Zor Prime is a Zentraedi who has been micronised.  He's therefore in the 3.5-inch scale instead of the more normal 6-inch Zentraedi scale.  He comes on the typical card, well, typical in terms of layout anyways, but it's a customised card with his cartoon image on the front and the bio and his ship above the head.

The figure is the standard Robotech figure, has the usual articulation.  Thanks to the lightweight construction, the figure is rather agile and can even stand on one leg!  The paintwork is adequate.  The headsculpt again looks nothing like the cartoon image on the packaging though.  He comes with a gun, or what I think is a gun.

Overall, the figure is rather fun.  It's highly posable, and works great with the other figures in the line, both micronised and the normal Zentraedi.  It just makes me wanna collect the rest of the figures!

  3. My search was unproductive last night, but I'll keep looking for them over the weekend. I do have a few unidentified guns in my accessory boxes that I'm pretty sure are Robotech weapons, however, so I might have to investigate those further.

  4. I hope you find some of them. Oh, and you should take pictures of whatever you find before you put them away again. Just for the record :)

  9. I checked out the box of various 3 3/4 figures where I thought these might be, but no dice. I actually have my parents coming into town this weekend, and whenever they come they usually bring a box or too of my old stuff for me to clear out of the house. We'll see if any Robotech figures show up....

  10. If they do bring you some toys, do post up what you've found. It'd be interesting to see what different people had in their childhood.
