It's still Lego City Police week of Speed September, and today I head back to open a recent set.
The box is the typical City box, which gets a bit boring after a while. Full set picture on the front, some action shots on the back, but otherwise, it's boring.
There are two baggies inside the box, together with the instruction book, the decal sheet and a huge chassis piece. There's just one minifig and a dog in the set.
The build for the vehicle wasn't too bad. Despite this being a four stud wide vehicle at the front, there's some impressive engineering to convert the rear to five studs wide. It opens up to admit the dog, but other than that, there's not much action features. There's the lack of openable doors though, which is a step in the wrong direction IMO. The overall look of the vehicle also seems a bit off, but the colour coordination - white and blue with some black is good. It doesn't have a number, unlike the recent police vehicles, but it still fits in very well with the rest of the vehicles.
