It's still Lego Police week here on Toy a Day, part of Speed September, of course, and I continue with another new City set.
It's not everyday that we get a prisoner van in the police line, but the the large number of crooks populating Lego City, I guess it's inevitable that we'll get one sooner or later. The box is boring, and that's because it's standard Lego City fare... I have no idea how Lego could make them better though.
The box contains two baggies, an instruction booklet and a decal sheet. Nothing special there.
Baggie number 1 builds the figures...
...the accessories... and half of the van.
Baggie number 2 completes the van, and also builds a bike.
Overall, it's a nice little set, built for playability. Cops chasing robbers? Who wouldn't like to play with that? I like the doors on the vehicles, and there's even a compartment in the van for the tools. The addition of the barred windows does give it a rather prison-esque sort of look.
And they fit in oh so perfectly with the rest of the sets - Police vehicle convoy? Bank Robbers convocation? I predict my Police city will grow even more crazier before the week is up!
