#370 of Year 2 Solaris Gendrones

It's the final day of the Glyos gitd stuff that I'm opening this month, in honour of gitd January 2010, of course.  Now, not everything this month will be gitd.  Also, there's no theme for this month, as I'm just opening stuff that I would like to open.

Those were how my army building Gendrones came - in a huge ziplock bag.  I ordered and got 3 normal glow and 2 Solaris versions of these figures, and there's all 5 of them, complete with spare parts.

These are still made from the smelly plastic and it rubs off on my fingers, which seriously makes me reconsider playing with them.  On the plus sides, the joints are tight yet, not excessively so and it allows for an easier time to assemble and modify the figures.  They are compatible with the other figures of the line and blend in rather nice with the other figures.  If you notice carefully, you can even see my Tri-klops Gendrone in the back.

I do wish though that they'd sell individual parts instead of whole figures.  I'm sure there are some customisers out there who are more than interested in building super minifigs out of these!

  1. You should take some pics of them all glowing. :)

  3. I think you can 'charge' them by placing them under some strong light, then cut the lights and take a pic without flash

  4. That's easier said than done. I don't have a good camera, and I suck at photography in general.

  6. Hooray! Toy photography tips. Actually Lemonjuice takes rather good pictures as well, despite being constantly drunk... hmm... maybe I should get drunk when I take my photographs...
