#367 of Year 2 Glyos Solaris Echo Morph

It's day 2 of 2011. Last year, January on Toy a Day was gitd January, and I thought it would be a good nod to have something gitd this month just for nostalgia's sake.  I got these gitd Glyos way back last year, almost half a year ago, and because I was only supposed to open a toy a day, well, let's just say that new year's day this year I was like a kid at Christmas, opening up way too many things.  I'll write about the Glyos line over the next few days in honour of gitd January 2010, but today I'll write about my favourite Glyos that I opened, the Solaris Echo Morph.

This was one of the few figures that came with a card and a nice package.  It's just a zip-lock bag, with a sheet of cardboard on top.  Teh back of the card shows the other Glyos in the line, or probably just their best sellers.  I have close to no knowledge about the line, nor am I a keen fan, but these were supposed to be the best since slice bread or something according to some fans, which is why I got some.

There are four heads in the, uh, package, and two torsos.  Then there are two arm attachments.  But there's only one set of arms and legs.  If they had included another set of arms and legs, it would have been great since that would have meant that one could make two figures instead of one, and it's not that much extra anyways to include the arms and legs.

Still, the figure is good.  The articulation is tight.  I have some issues forcing the pegs into the holes, but that could be because I'm playing with these in the thick of winter?  Still, it gitd, and that's the main reason I got these.  I have no regrets, but then again, I'm not exactly jumping up and down about these either.  Also, the plastic has a really horrid smell to them which means that I had to spray air freshener each time I play with them, something I wish I didn't have to do, and it does reduce my time playing with them.
