It's the final day of Manufacturers' May, and I'm closing out the month with Transformers Animated Snarl here on Toy a Day. Snarl, is one of the three Dinobots to appear in the Transformers Animated universe, along with Grimlock and Swoop.

Monday 30 May 2011
It's the last two days of Manufacturer's May and I thought I'd just finish off with Hasbro/TakaraTomy for the month. We start the week with Thundercracker, or rather the Japanese Activators version of the Seeker.
Sunday 29 May 2011
It's the final day of Bandai week, and it's the final day for me to open a Ben 10 toy this month. This is also my last unopened Ben 10 toy... and I suspect that won't last long. I'll probably give in to the dark side and get more of them the next time I see them on sale or something.
I'm just previewing the photos of the Soul of Chogokin stuff that I've got and these photos were taken early 2010. I think there's only been three robot anime that I've really been drawn to - Godmars, Gold Lightan and the grand-daddy that started this all, Voltes V.
Saturday 28 May 2011
It's the weekend, but it's still Bandai week featuring Ben 10 here on Toy a Day. I don't actually collect Ben 10, but since they are everywhere - toy stores, supermarkets, bookstores, video store, etc., it's pretty difficult not walking by one and picking them up.
Friday 27 May 2011
It's Bandai week and I really should have some Gobots up for this week, but that would mean digging them up from the store (yes, my Gobots are in storage), so I guess I'll just have to settle for Gaiking instead.
It's another day, yet it's still Bandai week of Manufacturer's May here on Toy a Day, and I'm featuring Ben 10 toys from Bandai. Today I'm opening Chromastone. Wait, didn't I open that yesterday? Well, yes and no. This is from the second series of Ben 10 Alien Force toys - it's the transparent version. I took a picture of the two toys unopened yesterday just to show the differences between the packaging.
Thursday 26 May 2011
It's still Bandai week featuring Ben 10, all part of Manufacturer's week here on Toy a Day. Now, Ben 10 clocks up the most hits on my blog - don't ask me why, but there seems to be a dearth of good infomation about the toys out there. Someone should really create a fan site.
It's Bandai week here, and Bandai has quite a few great lines - Pokemon, Soul of Chogokin, Kamen Rider, Ultraman, Bakugan. I don't really collect any of them. One of their most famous lines in the nineties was the Power Rangers, so I thought I'd repost that here in celebration of Bandair week.
Wednesday 25 May 2011
Blogger was down for me... or at least that's what I thought... until I found out that it doesn't work with Firefox for some weird reason. So now I've gotta get a whole new browser to do this and to catch up on writing up about the stuff that I've opened. This week is Bandai week featuring Ben 10, of course, and I continue with the Alien Force version of Upchuck.
Here's a repost from earlier in the year. It's about a toyline that I've barely even heard of, although I think the toyline is based on a rarely heard of cartoon series as well. Yes, it's Bandai Week of Manufacturer's May and here's another look at a figure from DICE.
Tuesday 24 May 2011
It's day 2 of Bandai week featuring Ben 10 here on Toy a Day, and today I'm opening Jet Ray. Wait, wasn't there another Jet Ray that I opened last year as part of Monster October. Yes, there was that, but this is the transparent version of the flying alien who shoots lasers from his eyes and tail.
It's Gundam today and this is a repost from Mecha March 2010, because this week it's Bandai week. It was huge in the 80s but I never got into it. While opening this I was thinking that Bandai is well known for the mecha robot stuff, including my favourite current line SoC. However, Bandai also has a large action figure line including Pokemon and Power Rangers. Hmm...

Saturday 21 May 2011
This is probably going to be my busiest month to date as I'm posting almost twice a day (well, counting the reposts). It is Kenner week, so I thought to complete my Big 4 for Kenner, I'll post something MASK, since I've already posted (or reposted) something Centurions, Sky Commanders and Silverhawks this week.
It's day 6 of Kenner week featuring Robocop, and this isn't a Kenner toy, but it's still a Robocop toy, so it goes into this week. Just because. It's a Toy Island toy, and if Stan Parks from yesterday is any indication, this will be an interesting toy.
Friday 20 May 2011
It's Kenner week, and since it's Kenner week, I thought I'd do some reposting of previous Kenner stuff from last year that's appeared here. Now Kenner is mainly known for its Star War toys, but towards the 90s, it became famous for its Batman license. Here's Harley Quinn from TAS, posted early October here on Toy a Day.
Yes I know this is Kenner week featuring Robocop, but I'm out of the Kenner Robocops, so I just have to make do with the Robocop figures from Toy Island. Up today is a rather sun-bleached card and figure from a line simply titled Robocop The Series, which I'm going to guess is based on the TV series of Robocop.
Thursday 19 May 2011
It's Kenner week, and for the first time ever on this blog, I'm going to do a repost! Yup, I'm ripping myself off! Har har! Here's a post from 10 months ago - I first posted this in July 2010 in the run up to Animated August that year.
It's still Kenner week featuring Robocop here on Toy a Day, and I'm going back to another Ultra Police today, a guy who's nicknamed Torpedo. I'm not sure I want to know how he got that nickname.
Wednesday 18 May 2011
It's Kenner week. Opening the Robocop Ultra Police figures with the Vacmetal on them just brings back memories of the Silverhawks. And because I'm so nostalgic about them, I decided to take them all out and play with them again.
Tuesday 17 May 2011
Anne Lewis was one of those figures I had carded, but while in storage, the glue on the bubble came off so she's not fully carded anymore. As such I don't think it'd be fair to count her as one of the toys I'm opening. Still, since this is Robocop week, here she is!
Monday 16 May 2011
I was feeling a bit nostalgic the other day, so I searched for a few 80s toy lines and I came across these. I placed a low bid for each of these, and forgot about them because there's no way I'll ever get such good figures for such a low price...
Wow, it's toy #500! Welcome to Kenner week here, which is part of Manufacturers May and since Kenner has gone the way of the Dodo, well, these are some ancient toys. Ancient being more than 10 year old toys of course. Now, I'm calling this Kenner week, but really, it's just Robocop week... and I start with... a villian!
