Well, if you've been following this blog everyday, congratulations. You've made it to the end of the blog... well, at least for this year. I'm ending the year with the third of the trio of Lego Mars Mission sets, and after the two Impulse sets of the past two days, I thought I'd actually go open a proper big set today.

Havoc MotUC customs - in my hands!
I've already shown most of Havoc's customs. So, I got my Havoc-made Gorpo yesterday. I also had the priviledge of playing with the rest of the other customs including Orko's other siblings:
Toyhaul with Havoc
OK, so where do I start talking about my toyhaul over the past couple of days?
Let's start with this awesome Gorpo custom:

It's the penultimate day of 2010, and I'm a little bit sad that Toy a Day will be coming to an end tomorrow... well, at least for this year. What will next year bring? Well, I think I have more or less decided, and I'll write about it next year. But back to today, I'm opening another Mars Mission Impulse set, and I think this is from the first wave of Impulse sets.

#363 of 365 Lego 5619 Mars Mission Crystal Hawk
It's the final three day of the year, and I thought I'd do a Mars Mission run. Today is the Inpulse set the Crystal Hawk. This is if I remember correctly, the second wave of Impulse sets.

I'm almost heady with the amount of Lego that I've been opening the past few days. It almost seems as if Christmas was a few days ago. Wait, Christmas was a few days ago...

Another day, another box of Impulse Lego. This one is apt, because usually this is the day that garbage collectors haul away all the detritus of Christmas morning.

MotUC Weapons Pak 2 aka Great War Assortment
Some have accused Mattel of printing money with these Weapons Pak. I actually do like them and I like the way Mattel could make repaints for other needed accessories in the line.

We are down to less than a week before the end of the year, and I have less than a week to go before I get to go crazy and open up a million toys. OK, I kid. I don't have a million toys to open. Sadly.

Lego Key Chains
So, it's Christmas day and there are no more goodies from the Advent Calendar. If you are suffering from Lego Advent Calendar withdrawal, here are some pictures of a few (non-toy) Lego keychains...

Merry Christmas everyone. While I'm opening the wrappings of Christmas presents (if it's a toy, I can't open anything this year, aaaargh!) I thought I'll just show you guys this awesome Exoforce set that I opened today (no, I didn't get this for Christmas this year). I hope you all had a great toy haul for Christmas!

#334 of 365 Lego 7979 Castle Advent Calendar Part 24
It's the day before Christmas! Many thanks and Merry Christmas to the contributors here - Wes Grogan, Lemonjuice McGee, 3B and Darkspectre! Here's me wishing you all lots of toys tomorrrow... well, except Lemonjuice, who's already got all the toys that he needs... for free!

#358 of 365 MotUC King Grayskull (red cape)
It's Christmas Eve. This is the time when nice boys and girls all over the world get toys... supposedly. These days I think parents just throw toys at their kids just to keep them busy for the holidays. But that's a whole different topic altogether.

#334 of 365 Lego 7979 Castle Advent Calendar Part 23
It's the penultimate day of the advent calendar. The shoutout today goes to Havoc whose support at the beginning of the year gave me the courage to start doing a toy a day. Have a Merry Christmas! I hope you have a great time with the boys and with Andy! Oh and Kat!

Matty reveals King Hiss, Panthor and Blackest Night
It's almost Christmas and Matty has been teasing the public with pictures of more toys on Facebook...
#357 of 365 MotUC Battle Cat
There's no theme this month, I'm just opening Lego with a break every so often for MotUC, and today is another one of those "break" days as I open Battle Cat. Now, BC was issued in January, but I didn't get to get him because he sold out while I was putting in my discount code. I was mightly upset back then, but thankfully there was a rerelease on Cyber Monday. I did put in my code for a $8 discount so I'm happy.

More shoutouts today, this time to the newly married Ewan, and to Daryl - thanks for the support and 圣诞快乐. I hope the lights on Orchard this year is grand! And also to the newly married pH6, Hyvää Joulua!

Next year will be my 30th anniversary of my Lego collecting habit. Yes, that's 30 years of getting at least a handful of Lego sets a year. I have almost a thousand lego sets and that's why they have their own room. My first set was a Legoland Police van, and I'm already planning for the 30th anniversary countdown! Hence the reason why I'm on a Lego-opening binge this month!

Since I'm taking the time to do shout-outs, I'd like to wish all my pinoy readers, especially Pichon who has been supporting this blog since it started, Maligayang Pasko. May your pata be crispy and your lumpia crunchy! (or is that the other way around?)

Another day, another Lego set. I'm in the home stretch for this year and this is the last 10 toys I'd be opening this year. Next year, hopefully, I'll be opening more than 365 toys in total, or maybe not, but I'm jumping ahead of myself here!

#334 of 365 Lego 7979 Castle Advent Calendar Part 20
I'm just wondering if there are any other toy advent calendars out there besides Lego... does Mega Bloks make one? Does Playmobile? Maybe Spy Monkey Creations or Onell Designs should look into making one of these for next year...

10 toys I wish I got in 2010
These are some of the things I wish I got this year. Sadly, due to budget constraints (yes, MotUC takes up way too much of my toy budget), I had to made do with less of these. Well, the year isn't over yet, so who knows? Maybe I'll get some of these for Christmas, but I don't have high hopes.

Action Figure Displays - Space #3, Anime #1, Christmas
I finally got my new Action Figure Displays! The existing ones were getting well used and I thought some fresh ones will shake things up a bit. Besides, AFD recently announced their new Christmas-themed display which I know I definitely have to get. So I got them way back when and thanks to their speedy and professional service, I have them now in my hands.

Another day, another window on the calendar. Lemme just take this space to shout out to Mr. Emilio Pigafetta, who's a huge fan of Lego minifigs in particular and Lego in general. He's also a much better photographer than me! And he got in contact with me because he saw my online presence. Heh!

So this month may seem to be a Lego month, but rest assured, there are some MotU goodness this month. Here's a preview picture of what I have to open this month!

#353 of 365 Lego 7656 Star Wars General Grievous Starfighter
I can't believe I'm such a glutton for punishment, as I've basically committed myself to doing three blog posts a day. There's these toy openings once a day, then there's the advent calendar, and an optional Top 10 list. OK, so it's at least two a day, but maybe three and it's sort of getting a bit tedious. Well, maybe. But then I have all of my loyal readers (all 5 of you?) to think about, so...

10 toylines I wish they had brought back in 2010
This is list number 5 for those who are counting. This year, saw the relaunch of a number of lines including Transformers Classics (or whatever it has been renamed) and Star Wars vintage. Movie-wise, we saw the relaunch of Tron toys. News-wise, we also received heads-up on Voltron and Thundercats. It would have been nice if they had launched those this year, but since they haven't, perhaps they will do so next year... Anyways, here's a list of toylines I wish they'd have made this year.
#334 of 365 Lego 7979 Castle Advent Calendar Part 18
It's the final week of the advent calendar. Yes, there's 7 more of these to go, and eight days before Christmas. So let's go rip into this!

#352 of 363 Lego 8821 Castle Rogue Knight Battleship
This has more or less turned out to be a Lego month after all. Except that it's not officially a Lego month. I do have Battle Cat and the reissued Grayskull to open, not to mention the second Weapons Pak and a second Grizzlor. But that's neither here nor now. Today I'm opening the Knight's Kingdom set that's related to Mistlands Tower, and it's this Rogue Knight Battleship.
