It's Halloween. And the start of a new week too. I christen this Beetlejuice week. And I open the week with Beetlejuice himself, of course.

#668 of Year 2 Muppets The Great Gonzo
It's Halloween tomorrow and I thought I'd celebrate today with a bit of weirdness. Or rather a Muppets Weirdo by the name of Gonzo!

#667 of Year 2 Bone Age Hammer Hook
I know it's Saturday, but it's the final day of Bone Age week as this is my last unopened Bone Age toy.

#666 of Year 2 Bone Age Dynacus
Dynacus is the first "vehicle" of the line. It's a vehicle in the sense that it's not a creature, although it's arguable. Welcome to the fifth day of Bone Age week.

#665 of Year 2 Bone Age Bull
Another day, and no, it's not another member from a new clan. There's only three clans in Bone Age, at least in this wave. We're midway through Bone Age week though!
Wednesday, 26 October 2011
#664 of Year 2 Bone Age Vorc the Voracious
It's Day 3 of Bone Age week, and we continue with the third of the three clans, the Lava Clan.
Tuesday, 25 October 2011
#663 of Year 2 Bone Age Tund the Thunderous
It's Day 2 of Bone Age week and it's an Ice Clan figure today... and I think he's the leader of the Ice Clan since his image is the one that's illustrated on the front of the card.

#662 of Year 2 Bone Age Kos
It's a brand new week here on Toy a Day. Yes, it's Bone Age week. This is probably one of the few weeks that I'd dedicate to an 80s toyline. I don't have much of them left unopened after almost two years of doing this!

#661 of Year 2 Simpsons The Raven
The Raven was a Simpsons Halloween Special (I think) and I only saw bits of it because I was doing other things. Supposedly it's a cult classic, and by cult I mean Simpsons.

#659 and #660 of Year 2 Skeleflex Triceratops and Ceratosaur
It's Spooktober, and I'm serving up some bones today. Dinosaur bones to be exact, albeit the plastic toy kind.

It's still Spooktober here on Toy a Day and I continue the month with a pair from Monsters Inc - Mike and Sulley.

#656 and #657 of Year 2 Ben 10 Nanomech and Goop
It's still Spooktober, and I'm borrowing a page from last year and opening a couple of Aliens from Ben 10. How's that?

#652 - #655 of Year 2 Lego 8805 Minifigures
So I just recently got four Series 5 minifigs the other day. I'm after the dwarf, of course, and the gladiator from the series. Will I get lucky? Now the thing about this series is that Lego got smart - there are no more bar codes, and Lego has mixed up the dots on the pacakging so there's no way of using even that to find figures. Eep!

#651 of Year 2 Battle Force 5 Water Slaughter
Well, the only other vehicle I saw at the department store that I did not have was the Water Slaughter. That's correct, it's not part of the Battle Force 5, but it does belong to one of their villians - Sever of the Vandals.

#650 of Year 2 Battle Force 5 Crawler
So I was walking through Farmers the other day (that's a department store in Erehwon), and they had Hot Wheels on sale. Blegh, not really my thing, really. Then these caught my eye. Wait, Battle Force 5? I love them - and I do remember way back in August when I was opening them that I wish I got more of them. Well, here's my chance.

#648 and #649 of Year 2 Carnivor (Beastman and Webstor)
It's not everyday that I have to purchase two figures for a Fuerza-T custom. Destructor was basically a repainted Clawful, Felinor was a Beastman with a spare Merman head (and I had one because I have two Mermans on display with the alternate heads), Pantano was a Beastman with the Merman armour from the second Weapons Pack. But Carnivor? Well, he had Beastman's body, Webstor's head and Stratos' jet pack. Now I already have the jet pack from the Weapons pack, so it was just a case of getting the rest of the figures.

#647 of Year 2 MotUC Hurricane Hordak
It's the final day of MotUC week of Spooktober 2011 here on Toy a Day, and although this isn't very scary (lets face it, we've had lots of time to get used ot a pig snout on a bat faced character), I still think Hordak is the Dracula of the MotU-verse (with Grizzlor being the "wolfman" hairy monster, Leech the monster from the deep and Mantenna the creepy crawly. There's also the mummy in the concept sketech and I'm sure a Frankenstein monster can be found somewhere).

#646 of Year 2 MotUC Leech
It's still MotUC week of Spooktober 2011 here on Toy a Day, and I continue this week with the Evil master of suction, Leech.
Friday, 7 October 2011
#645 of Year 2 MotUC Pantano
I actually got three Beastmans (Beastmen?) a while ago. One was for Felinor and another one was for this guy, Pantano. Welcome to Spooktober 2011 here on Toy a Day, and it's MotUC week this week.
Thursday, 6 October 2011
#644 of Year 2 MotUC Felinor
OK, this has been a while in the writing, but it's another Fuerza-T figure that I made a while ago - Felinor!
Wednesday, 5 October 2011
#642 and #643 of Year 2 MotUC Megator
It's still MotUC week of Spooktober 2011, and it's a giant and a giant zombie today - Megator!
Monday, 3 October 2011
#641 of Year 2 MotUC Captain Glenn
And it's the start of MotUC week proper of Spooktober. OK, Marlena, or Captain Glenn isn't a whole lot of scary, but it's OK - the month isn't about being scary, or is it?

#639 and 640 of Year 2 MotUC Man-E-Faces
It's Spooktober here on Toy a Day, and I start off with something that's not so spooky. OK, this is MotUC week of Spooktober, and I've got a whole pile of MotUC to open after Speed September.
