I'm going to continue GIJoe week-ish with four more movie vehicles.  I didn't bother getting the figures from the movie line because I couldn't justify paying huge sums of money for them.  The vehicles, by contrast consists of a figure AND a vehicle and only costs double of what a figure would cost, so, it made more sense IMO to get the vehicles.  Nevermind that some of them went on clearance anyways...

DCUC Lanterns (including customs)

Nope, these aren't new toys I'm opening.  I did ask SirDragonBane of Chase Variant to pick up a few DCUC lanterns for me to buff up my "Corps".

I guess this is sort of turning out to be a GIJoe half week after all.  I was at the Japanese import store, when I noticed these in their discount bins.  Yes, some spanish GIJoe in a Japanese store.  So totally weird...

Hasbro now has all the Kenner rights, and to ensure that they retain the copyright for some of the more notable characters, they had to do something at the end of 20 years or whatever that may be.  So they shoved Matt Trakker of MASK fame into their G. I. Joe line as an anniversary exclusive.

I'm just gonna open Winston today, just to complete my four Ghostbuster.  When the line was announced, I wasn't going to get any of them.  Then Ray came along with the gitd ghost and I got him, and along the line, I got Egon and Peter.  So since all that I had left was Winston, I got the Slimeblower version of him as well.

I don't really have the time these days to do a post each day for each toy opened, so I thought I might as well just combine a few of them here and there where they make sense like I did last week.  And today it's two different versions of one character - Peter Pan!

It's the last day of the Ultraman week here on Toy a Day, and I end with this weird plane from Ultraman GUYS (I have no idea what that stands for), the GUYS Machine Series (GMS)-04.

It's day 2 of Iron Man week, and I'm still on an Animated Adventures roll, which means there's no Iron Man?  Heh.  I'm not the guy who's into the main character.  Usually, it's the other characters in the line that interest me.

I got two extra Clawfuls.  I was hoping to make two Claw guys and army build with them, but Havoc pointed out that I could make Fuerza-T's Destructor with them which started me down this current "craze" for repaint customs.

I got a spare Battleground Teela during the sale.  I mean she's got a nice new body and that body could be used as the basis for another character.  Yes, I know Battleground Teela is one of Toyguru's favourite characters, but I've no intention of displaying a sex-changed Master Bates.

I got two more Buzz-Offs the other day, because like Catra, he comes with two weapons and can be displayed two different ways.  The third was just for custom fodder, of which I've not decided yet what to do with it.  Perhaps Kamo Kahn early next year?
