I'd be remiss if I talked about an oddly created character by someone who's not even MotU related and then not mention this guy. Cy-Chop is created by the current designer of MotUC, Terry.
Apparently Cy-Chop is a Horde character as evident by the sticker on the bubble. The starburst mentions his creator (no, it's not Hordak!) There's a bio on the back, and some evil characters including cyborg Trap-Jaw.
I was surprised by how weird the character is. The weirdness comes mostly fom his weird arms though. The Roboto inspired torso is nice, and the Horde Prime arms are good. However, I'm not too sure about the Beastman legs. The headsculpt is nice, but the arm attachment seems oversized. Still he looks more like a MotU figure than his two predessors.

In some ways this figure has a "Micro-Man" vibe to him.
