It's Speed September and I'm going to start my Speed Racer run.  I'll start off with Speed Racer himself and his vehicle Mach 5.  These are the movie figures from Hot Wheels.  That's the latest incarnation of the franchise that started out as a Japanese anime in the 60s.

It's day six and wait, didn't I only have five of these Lego Cars 2 sets?  Well, I was at TRU the other day and I decided since I was enjoying the series so much, I might as well pick up the huge big limited set from TRU.  And here it is.  The Tokyo International Circuit.

It's still Speed September as I continue with Lego Cars 2 week here on Toy a Day.  Today we move on to the protagonist and the sort of antagonist of the movie, McQueen and the Italian F1 car, Francesco.

It's Speed September here on Toy a Day and I'm dedicating this week to Cars 2.  I just watched it over the weekend and I liked the movie.  I'll start off with the hero of the movie, Tow Mater!

I'm close to running out of toys for the rest of this year - this was only supposed to be Toy a Day for 2010, but I've gone on to do another 8 months after that and this is the start of the nineth month - and it's a themed month.  Speed September 2011 is the theme this month and I start off with this trio of MotU vehicles.

This is the final of the four Rise of Cobra vehicles that I've got to open, and it's also the biggest of the four.

Another day, another Rise of Cobra vehicle.  This was another of those vehicles that when I saw in the movie I hoped they would produce as a toy so that I could get it.  And I was not disappointed.
