It's another day, and it's still Speed September though... and this is the toyline that lent half its name to this month's theme... Speed Racer! Racer X is the antagonist of the series (I think, I've not watched the movie or the anime) and he has a rather important position in the franchise.

It's Speed September and I'm going to start my Speed Racer run. I'll start off with Speed Racer himself and his vehicle Mach 5. These are the movie figures from Hot Wheels. That's the latest incarnation of the franchise that started out as a Japanese anime in the 60s.
