8The reason why I got a few more Friends sets is this.  This little baggie was to be given out free for purchases of Friends sets at my local TRU.  Well, it's too good to pass up a bargain to get free Lego!

The flagship set of the Friends series has to be Olivia's House.  Not only does she feature Olivia, but her parents Monica and Chand...er... erm... Peter and Anna are in it as well.

It's still purple and pink here as I continue on to Stephanie's Cool Convertible.  Wait, it's a convertible?  I wonder if it's as great as the Gallardo...

With the Dino theme, the dinosaurs was the main draw for me.  The friends theme though gives me lots of cool furnishing and accessories.  I have no use for the girly minifigures with boobs... since they seem so out of scale with the rest of the minifigs.

I was travelling in July (was that last month?) and I picked up a couple more MotU hotwheels at the airport.  So here they are - Eternia and Skeletor on Panthor.

I didn't even realised that we were getting Rocket Red this year, whoever he is.  He's part of the Club Infinite Earth though and as I told someone the other day - it's like magic that I get free toys every few months.  I do look forward to it next year.

Well, Vykron had three different sets of armour, but just one body.  Somehow I had to rectify that.

Vykron is the SDCC MotUC exclusive for this year.  He comes in three different packaging.  I only got two of him though - one to display, another to keep in the box.

#856a of Year 3 MotUC Snake Mountain Stands

Just a quick post today about the Snake Mountain stands.  Two years ago, Mattel made stands for MotUC and those stands had a Grayskull pattern.  It sold out in a few minutes.  So Mattel went back and made more and they have sort of been an evergreen product on Matty Collector.  Fans though, have been asking for stands for the other factions, so Mattel issued these Snake Mountain stands.

Stinkor has a very special place in my MotU mythos.  That's because he was the first figure I picked up and got ever.  I knew about MotU way back then, of course, as my friends all had He-Man and stuff, but I could never afford them even way back then.  So the first time I saw him in the shops, I had to beg to be allowed to have a figure and was told that I could get only 1.  I have no idea why I picked him out of all the others, but the black and white and orange and blue just makes him stands out so much more I guess.  Oh and he also stands out because he stinks, and not in a bad way.

Did I mention Horde Prime yesterday?  Here he is!  He was originally supposed to be Horde Supreme, but Mattel finally got the Filmation and UK comic rights, so they could finally make him as Horde Prime.

The MotUC 30th anniversary celebrations aren't actually that great.  Sure we got figures like Photog, but we also get figures like this one - the purple Deadpool aka the Mighty Spector.

I was a bit excited that we were getting Slushhead so soon.  I mean Whiplash and Flipshot parts in one figure?  That's exactly what I want!
