I'm gonna close off MotUC month with a DCUC vs MotUC 2-pack: Bizarro vs Faker. This is my only MotUC purchase made on Evilbay, thanks to it not being available on MattyCollector. And I'm glad that I got it!

#793 of Year 3 MotUC Thunder Punch He-Man
Thunder Punch He-Man is the first Quarterly figure of 2012. That's nothing special in and of itself, except that in the 30th anniversary year of He-Man, the first three Quarterly figures will include a minicomic drawn by Dark Horse. Now that's something that's not been seen for over 20 years.

#792 of Year 3 MotUC Draego-Man
Wow, we are getting the second of our 30th anniversary figures already? And there's only 6 of these guys. Well, this one is the creation of the Four Horsemen, the creative genius behind the MotUC line.

#789 - #791 of Year 3 MotUC Wind Raiders
Swiftwind is one of those characters that can be displayed in two different ways despite the fact that she's unique. The Wind Raider, however, is a vehicle that's not unique, but is condusive to army building. Okay, the price point may be a bit pricey, but a fleet of three of these would just be so visually amazing.

#787 - #788 of Year 3 MotUC Swiftwind and Swiftwind
Well, now that I have the Bubble Power She-Ra opened, I can finally open the Swiftwinds. Yes, plural. I guess I'm one of the weirdos supporting this line as I purchased 3 of these horsies... and all of them have the correct foot. I think.

#786 of Year 3 MotUC Bubble Power She-Ra
So Mattel was gonna make a Swift Wind. And the saddle is designed in such a way that She-Ra couldn't sit on it. What do they do? Do they redesign Swift Wind? Nope, they just redesigned She-Ra and made her a variant that's not included in the subscription. She has to be different somehow, so let's grab the next She-Ra variant - Bubble Power She-Ra!

#784 - #785 of Year 3 MotUC Kobra Khan and Kobra Khan
It's almost the end of April, or MotUC month here on Toy a Day. But that doesn't mean the end of the MotUC fun!

#783 of Year 3 MotUC Clawful and Kevin Kosse custom heads.
There's quite a lot of third party items out there for MotUC, and recently, I came across one that does custom heads.

#782 of Year 3 MotUC custom Titano (Man-at-Arms)
Well, the good thing about Fisto is that there's an extra head. Add that to his brother's body and we'll more or less have the figure Titano from Fuerza-T!

#780 - #781 of Year 3 MotUC Fisto and Fisto
Fisto is one of those characters who gained more prominence in the MYP cartoon. And he also had a look that was similar yet different from the vintage figure in that cartoon. Mattel decided to pack both looks into the figure and I was glad that I got two of these figures.

#778 - #779 of Year 3 MotUC Snout Spout and Snout Spout
It's still MotU April... and so far it's more MotUC than anything else. I have two vintage Snout Spouts... and I thought it'll be a good nod to my vintage collection to have two Classics Snout Spouts as well!

#776 - #777 of Year 3 MotUC Sorceress and Sorceress
One of the most anticipated figure in the MotUC line is the Sorceress of Grayskull. Yes, they killed her off in the new millennium, but that's the non-Sorceress from Egypt. The blue and orange version from the vintage cartoon though, is alive and well, at least in toy form. I got two of her, because I wanted to customise the second one as a pink Sorceress as shown in the first minicomic I ever owned, The Stench of Evil.

#775 of Year 3 MotUC Shadow Weaver
Filmation was the animation company that produced the cartoon series in the 80s. They also created a whole host of characters, and because of that retains the rights to those characters, so those characters were off-limits for Mattel... until this year and Mattel decided to celebrate the fact by giving us a character never before seen in toy-form: Shadow Weaver.

#773 - #774 of Year 3 MotUC Fearless Photog (and Stratos)
Back in the 80s, Mattel ran a competition for little kids to design a character. The prize was scholarship money and a physical figure for the winner. Well, they gave out the money to the winner, but not the toy... until this year, the 30th anniversary of the line. It's Fearless Photog time!

#771 - #772 of Year 3 MotUC Demo-Man & Keldor
The introduction of Vikor into the line means that the introduction of Demo-Man, or concept Skeletor wasn't too far off. Well, Vikor's toy representation was very true to the concept sketch of the character. How does Demo-man fare? And would whoever named Demo-man way back in the 80s knew that his name would be used 30 years down the line for a new character?
#770 of Year 3 MotUC custom Sgt. Powers (Captain Glenn)
So I have a spare unhelmeted Evil-Lyn head from the He-Ro custom... which is just great because I do want a second astronaut to complete the crew of the Rainbow Warrior.

#767 - #769 of Year 3 MotUC custom Gray (He-Ro / He-Man and BG Evil-Lyn)
I like making custom MotUC figures. In fact, this is the only Action Figure line that I have that I've dared make any custom figures! Gray was revealed on the back of Eldor's card and my Facebook friend Chris Sunday made a custom of him and posted it on Facebook to the point where I was so excited about the character.

#764 - #766 of Year 3 Lego 8683 Minifigures Spaceman, Forestman and Ninja
Since this is turning out more or less to be Lego Minifigures week (ish), I might as well get these Series 1 minifigs out of the way! This dude got a whole box of them from Switzerland or someplace like that and is selling them for a profit and I decided why not? I picked the three that I wanted...
Lego Minifigures display cases
While I was at TRU, I came across these. I think they are made by an Australian company under license from Lego.

#760 - 763 of Year 3 Lego 8827 and 8805 Minifigures Alien and Cleopatra
I started a local Facebook Lego group and it's gone over a hundred members already. One of the craziest thing is that everyone seems to be interested in minifigs! So I was at TRU the other day and this dude frtom the Facebook Lego group handed me a packet with the Cleopatra that I wanted. While there, I asked him if he could find a couple of Aliens for me. He found 3, so I felt obliged to buy them.
