It's the last day of the month, and I thought I'd end with another Lantern.  A red Lantern.  The DCUC line was cancelled because of the new 52, but Mattel decided to continue the line as DCU Signature Collection and Atrocitus is one of those figures, the second in the line after Flash Jay Garrick.

#827 of Year 3 DCUC Black Lantern Hal Jordan

Wait there is a 7th figure in the Deputy Lanterns Wave?  Apparently there is.  He's the Black Lantern Hal Jordan, a variant of the 6th figure and seems to be mostly a repaint.

#826 of Year 3 DCUC White Lantern Hal Jordan

It's the final figure of Wave 17, the deputy Lantern wave... but here we have Mr. White Lantern himself, Hal Jordan!  Hmm...

#825 of Year 3 DCUC Orange Lantern Lex Luthor

The penultimate figure in Wave 17 of course is the greedy Lex Luthor.  He's my least favourite figure in the wave when I saw the pictures.  Will actually opening up the figure change my mind?

Another day, another figure from the Deputy Lantern wave.  This is the first Indigo lantern in DCUC and I'm not so sure whether I'm happy about it or upset that we aren't getting the other criminals...

The third figure in Wave 17 is another Justice Leaguer, Mr. Flash himself.  It's still Justice June after all...

#822 of Year 3 DCUC Sinestro Corps Scarecrow

I've always wondered why they did not start with Red Lantern Mera in this wave, but Mattel's reasons are only known to them... and to DC.  The second figure in Wave 17 is the Sinestro Corps Scarecrow!  Yay, more Sinestro Corps for me!

#821 of Year 3 DCUC Star Sapphire Wonder Woman

I'm gonna continue Justice June with wave 17 of DCUC.  That's the Deputy Lantern wave, and the wave starts with a Justice Leaguer - Wonder Woman!  The Star Sapphire version of her to boot!

#820 of Year 3 DCUC Reverse Flash

There's 7 figures in Wave 20.  And the final figure is the Reverse Flash.  What is the Reverse Flash?  Just one of Flash's enemies from the 25th century.  It's still Justice June here on Toy a Day, for those who are keeping track, not that there are many these days...

If Sinestro being the previous figure isn't a hint, this figure, the White Lantern Flash strikes home another repaint and the craziness that was Darkest Day, Brightest Night over at DC.

The fifth figure in Wave 20 is Sinestro.  Wait, Sinestro?  Yes, Sinestro.  He's already appeared once in Wave 3 with two different figures and he's here again probably just to save costs or something.

#817 of Year 3 DCUC Green Arrow

Well, I'm still plogging (is that a word?) the Dead Dudes wave of DCUC (aka Wave 20) in this Justice June, and Figure 4 in the wave is a drama queen... who shows... and has a large bow and lots of arrows.  Oh and he's green and goes by the name of Ollie Queen.

#816 of Year 3 DCUC Red Arrow

Figure 3 of the Dead Dudes wave has the only figure in the wave that's not been dead at least once I think.  Red Arrow, aka Arsenal or Speedy before that is a member of the JLA at some point.  He's also a sidekick that has made it big time or something like that.

Dove is the second figure in Wave 20.  The original Dove was Hawk's brother, but he's dead.  The new dove is this chick (pun sorta intended) who wears the same colours as the original Dove, but not quite the same uniform.

#814 of Year 3 DCUC Hawk

Mattel ended their DCUC run with Wave 20.  Well, it's still Justice June, so let's let her rip!  The wave starts with Hawk of Hawk and Dove fame.  Now, all I remember of Hawk is his apparence in the JLU cartoon in the episode with Wonder Woman.  I also know that he's recently shown up in Birds of Prey, but that's not a title that I read either.  I don't know much about him, but I do know he has ties to the Teen Titans and the JSA.

#813 of Year 3 DCUC Bronze Tiger

The final figure in Wave 18 is Bronze Tiger.  I have no idea who he is either, other than the fact that he's black.

#812 of Year 3 DCUC Samurai

Samurai is another one of those Superfriends characters and yes, he's Japanese.  Hence the reason why I've named this wave the Ethnic Minority wave.

#811 of Year 3 DCUC Captain Boomerang

The fourth figure in Wave 18 is Captain Boomerang.  I do know he's part of the Flash Rogues' Gallery, but what significance does he have in the Ethnic Minority wave, other than the fact that he's Australian?  Perhaps he's just there to complete Flash's Rogues Gallery?

#810 of Year 3 DCUC Toyman

I have no idea who is the Toyman, or what significance does he hold within the DC Universe in terms of teams or some such, but he is the third figure in Wave 18.

#809 of Year 3 DCUC El Dorado

El Dorado is another one of those Superfriends who was added to give the cartoon some ethnic diversity.  He's also the second figure in the Ethnic Minority wave aka Wave 18.

#808 of Year 3 DCUC Black Vulcan

It's still Justice June, and I'm gonna start on a new DCUC wave.  Wave 18 is the Ethnic Minority wave and opens with Black Vulcan, the lightning powered hero from the Superfriends TV cartoon.

#807 of Year 3 DCUC Magog

The final figure in the Wave is Magog.  I don't know much about him other than the fact that he straddles the divide between hero and villian.

#806 of Year 3 DCUC Hawkman

Figure 5 in Wave 19 is Hawkman.  Now I already have a Hawkman from the DCUC vs MotUC line, so I wasn't really looking forward to this variant... and variant he is.  This is the Hawkman from the 40s.  If the 40s was where radiation and nuclear power was played up to the hilt, then human powered flight was the next big thing to prevail in superheroes.

#805 of Year 3 DCUC Lord Naga

The name Kobra is probably taken or is too similar to GIJoe's KOBRA or something.  So Mattel and DCUC went with Lord Naga instead?  Okay...

#804 of Year 3 DCUC Stargirl

Figure 3 of Wave 19 is Stargirl... and I'm still continuing on a Justice Society run to kick off Justice June.  Stargirl is one of the characters created by Geoff Johns of DC based on his dead sister or something.  She's the daughter of the sidekick (aka Stripe) of the 40s JSA-er Star.  She's since been "upgraded" by being presented with Starman's cosmic rod, making her the legacy of two JSA-ers.
